Public transportation game Cities in Motion, developed by Colossal Order and published by Paradox Interactive has been available in stores for a while now. The game is available via Steam and GamersGate, you can check here for other retailers.

Cities in Motion release trailer:

I was happy to work as one of the environment artists on Cities in Motion for almost a year and a half. Cities in Motion developer diaries are an interesting read and offer a nice overview to the game development as Developer Diary #5 – The Hofburg Palace published exclusively at GameZone is written by me and goes a little in depth to show the work process of an environment artist.

The Neue Burg section of Vienna’s famous landmark Hofburg Palace in Cities in Motion:

The game has received some pretty good reviews already, the impression is that they seem to like the graphics a lot, which I’m personally quite pleased to hear.

I wish you an enjoyable gaming experience and many entertaining moments with Cities in Motion!
